Create an Observation

You can raise Observations directly in HammerTech.

Note: the general contractor must enable specific Observation Types to be raised by Employer users. If you can't see any, contact the general contractor managing the project.

Raising an Observation

1. Log into HammerTech and select the project
2. Go to Observations
3. Click the + on the top right
4. Complete the form:
   1. Upload photos
   2. Select an Observation Type
   3. Choose a Classification: Positive, Neutral, or Negative
   4. Add a description
   5. Select a Location
   6. Assign to your company, or leave unassigned
   7. Mark as Not Yet Resolved or Already Resolved
   8. Choose Priority and confirm Due Date (by default pre-filled based on Priority)
5. If raising multiple Observations in a row, choose to Add Another and lock any fields you want to carry over
6. Click Create
