Subcontractors can apply for permits in HammerTech for builder approval.
Key Notes
- All permits must be approved by the builder before work begins.
- Exclusive Zones/Types: Only one active permit can exist at a time. Conflicts display in orange (partial) or red (full-day).
- Concurrent Bookings: Allowed only in non-exclusive zones/types.
Steps
1. Log into HammerTech and select your project.
2. Go to Permits > Create New.
3. Select:
- Permit Type
- Employer
- Associated Workers, SWMS, and Equipment (if required)
4. Choose the Permit Zone and review calendar conflicts. Note: If no Permit Zone exists, please notify the Main Builder to assist.
5. Set Start and Finish times.
6. Add notes if needed.
7. Click Submit for Approval.
Note: Once approved, only the main builder can edit a permit.
