Workers can be assigned to a SWMS when the SWMS is created, or at anytime after.
Once a SWMS has been assigned to a worker, you are able to see it in the Associated SWMS section in their profile, alongside with the following:
- Signature Status
- Method the Signature was obtained
- Date the SWMS has been signed.
Below are the status' that will appear in the Associated SWMS section of a workers profile:
- UNSIGNED - the worker hasn't signed the SWMS yet
- SIGNED via SWMS - the worker has signed the SWMS by an internal user accessing the SWMS in HammerTech and having the worker sign directly
- SIGNED via SMS/Email - the worker has signed the SWMS via the link that was sent to them via SMS or Email
- SIGNED via Registration - the worker has signed the SWMS as part of his induction onto the project
Assigning workers to a SWMS
- Log into HammerTech
- Select a project from the Company Overview drop-down on the top right
- Select SWMS > View All / High Risk SWMS
- Select the appropriate SWMS
- Select the Options cog in the top right > Edit
- Scroll down to Personnel who are assigned to this SWMS and select the workers to associate with the SWMS
- Select Save Changes
Capturing signatures on an existing SWMS
- Log into HammerTech
- Select a project from the Company Overview drop-down on the top right
- Select SWMS > View All / View High Risk SWMS
- Select the appropriate SWMS
- If capturing the signature from the worker directly:
Scroll down to Personnel who are assigned to this SWMS, select the Sign box and use your touchscreen (or mouse) to sign the form - If sending the link to the worker to capture the signature via SMS or email:
Scroll down to Personnel who are assigned to this SWMS, then click the Send Reminder button next to the worker's name
Please note: When signing via SMS/email, the worker will be unable to sign until the SWMS attachment is viewed.
