If you find that, after clicking on a registration/induction link (via SMS or Email) that your phone opens a different website that is not HammerTech, this is often related to the web browser on your phone.
The problem is often the default web browser on a users phone. When the registration link is clicked (SMS or Email), phones use the 'default' web browser, as per the phones settings.
Unsupported web browsers (such as the Samsung browser) will opens the previous page the user was browsing last time they had that browser open.
The Samsung in-built browser especially is known to cause issues, as it is not maintained regularly. If workers are using the Samsung browser, we highly recommend them updating the default browser to one of the supported ones instead.
They will need to go to the settings in their phone and change the default web browser to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Edge and Firefox.
