Add Equipment (Induct or Import)

As a subcontractor Primary Contact or Nominated Representative, you can add Equipment to a project by either inducting new Equipment, or importing Equipment already approved on another project.

Induct New Equipment

1. Log into HammerTech and select your porject
2. Go to Equipment, then click +
3. Select the Category (if configured) and Equipment Type (drop-down or picture view)
4. Enter any relevant Equipment Details
5. Enter Service Details:
   • by Date (set next service date)
   • by Hours (working hours until next service date)
6. Fill in custom fields (if configured)
7. (optional) Assign Authorised Operators (only workers inducted under your company with applicable licences will be shown)
8. (optional) Associate SWMS if required
9. Save as Draft or Submit for Approval

You'll be notified when the equipment is approved or rejected with comments.

Import Existing Equipment

1. Go to Equipment, then click +
2. Select the Category (if configured) and Equipment Type (drop-down or picture view)
3. Search for the equipment by name, code, or through a drop-down
4. Select the Equipment, then click Import
5. Review the details carried over, add project-specific info
6. Save as Draft or Submit for Approval

Notes:

• Equipment must be approved on another project to appear in the list
• The Import Equipment functionality must be enabled by the builder for this option to appear
