Correcting Company Names and User Logins
If your company is listed under different names in the HammerTech systems of two or more main builders, the company records cannot be merged into a single record. However, the company names can be updated so they are consistent.
Contact an administrator at the relevant main builder and ask them to update the incorrect company name to match the name used in the other systems. Subcontractors cannot update their own company name in HammerTech.
If you are a Primary Contact or Nominated Representative, you should also use the same email address in each main builder’s system. If a different email address is being used in one system, contact the relevant general contractor and ask them to update it.
Using the same email address allows you to use the same HammerTech login and password across all main builder systems. After logging in, you can select the company or system you need to access.
Please note: Workers do not have a HammerTech login. This information only applies to Primary Contacts and Nominated Representatives.
Keeping your company name and email address consistent makes it easier to access and manage your work across multiple main builders. However, it does not combine the separate company records or data held within each main builder’s system.
Importing and Exporting Information Between Main Builders
Each main builder’s HammerTech system is separate. There is no consolidated subcontractor dashboard where you can manage your workers, equipment, documents and other information across all the main builders you work with.
Information cannot be imported or exported from one main builder’s HammerTech system to another. Each main builder may have unique fields, processes and requirements, so your company’s information must be managed separately within each system.
Some information can be reused between projects within the same main builder’s system. Existing workers can be imported into another project, and approved equipment may also be imported if the main builder has enabled this functionality. These options do not allow information to be transferred between different main builders.
